🥊 ROUND 8 of 12

Round 8 – Make a List of Those We Have Harmed

Preparing Our Hearts for Healing, Humility, and Restoration
Freedom in Christ is not only about what God delivers us from—it is also about what He restores. Addiction and sinful choices often leave behind broken trust, damaged relationships, wounded hearts, and painful memories. In Round 8, we begin preparing to make things right by asking God to honestly reveal every person we have harmed. This step is not about shame or condemnation. It is about humility, obedience, and allowing God’s grace to begin restoring what sin has broken.

Round 8 Teaching with Kim Carpenter
Healing Broken Relationships Through Humility and Truth
In this week’s Recovery America meeting, we explore one of the most life-changing steps in recovery—honestly identifying the people we have harmed through addiction, selfishness, and sinful choices. Before reconciliation can begin, we must first allow God to search our hearts. Round 8 prepares us to move beyond personal freedom toward restoring relationships, rebuilding trust, and living as ambassadors of Christ’s reconciliation.

This Week's Challenge

Ask God to help you make an honest written list of every person you have harmed through addiction or sinful choices. Don’t worry about contacting anyone yet—that comes later. Simply ask the Holy Spirit for courage, humility, and a willing heart. Recovery begins with honesty, and restoration begins with surrender.
